Advanced Mobile IT (AMIT) is proud to announce our successful bid to install and partner with NSW State Emergency Service’s (SES) project team to deliver ‘Vehicle as a Node’ (VaaN) across NSW over the next 12 months. This project will provide access to Critical Operational Communications for the entire SES fleet of Operational Vehicles. This will allow the NSW SES to communicate via multiple platforms into the PSN even when not within range of the PSN network towers.
This SES project aligns with and compliments the VaaN project currently underway with Fire and Rescue NSW as part of an Emergency Services Critical Communications uplift. AMIT will assist NSW SES to manage the hardware rollout, from the installation design, and supply of associated materials for each vehicle, before installing the complete solution onsite across NSW. This will then lead to AMIT providing ongoing service and support to streamline SES’s vehicle communication systems.
AMIT has been working with SES since 2017, and this project demonstrates another example of our proven experience and commitment to offering our emergency service customers world-class solutions and our ongoing dedication to remaining the leading supplier of fit-for-purpose in-vehicle mobile computing and communication solutions in Australia.
